About Toni Jacalone, MS RDN

I grew up in Moorpark, CA in Ventura County, but I was always drawn to the mountains. I got my Bachelor’s degree from CSU Long Beach in 2007 then my Master’s degree from CSU Northridge in 2016. Between those two degrees, I lived in beautiful Mammoth Lakes, CA in the Eastern Sierra. In 2019, I moved back to Mammoth Lakes after my divorce, and after two wonderful years there, am now back in my hometown area of Ventura County. A lot of back and forth, but I’m now close to family and staying put for awhile!

In high school I became a vegetarian, which led to my interest in nutrition. I transitioned to plant-based and vegan-ish in 2012. Since that time, I’ve dreamed of having my own private nutrition practice. Not only have I always dreamed of working for myself, I can also put my passion to help other women to good use. Whether you’re trying to get pregnant, want to transition to a more plant-based lifestyle or are looking to heal your relationship with food, I can help with that!

My Single Mother By Choice Decision & Journey

After getting divorced three years ago at 37 years old, I decided I wanted to be a single mother by choice and I’ve been pursuing that goal ever since. I always pictured having a big family with three or four kids and a lot of dogs. I did my first round of IVF in April of 2020. It resulted in 1 PGT-A tested normal embryo. I went through round two in May 2021 and once again have 1 PGT-A normal embryo as a result. Having a team to support you through this journey is so important, and I know because I’m going through it myself!

When I’m not working, you can find me reading, walking, hiking, kickboxing, snowboarding, singing karaoke, watching Friends or Jeopardy, or adventuring with my dog, Ruby. My ex-husband and I adopted Ruby just before I filed for divorce and she has gotten me through many hard times.

I love working with people to share what I know and help you wherever you are on your journey. It has taken a village of support for me to pursue becoming a single mother by choice, so I look forward to being part of your village.
